If you do this then you are nothing more than a low life thief, a scum bag and a person without morals.

I hope one day you spend a lot of money to buy a "low mileage" car just like the one you are "creating" now. Karma can be a bitch!

If I'm understanding you correctly, you had F/I problems, so people were driving it fix the problem, yes? And now you want to pretend those miles didnt happen, yes?

My question would be why the hell did they drive it so many miles to diagnose a problem? Doesnt make any sense. As for rolling the odo back, thats just shady as hell. The car drove those miles (apparently with motor issues) and you want to pretend it didnt happen just cuz you didnt put the miles on yourself? Thats crap.

By that logic, everyone who buys new should get to zero out the miles because THEY didnt put the miles on, someone else did.

My advice, forget this poorly thought out idea ever entered your head. And the next time you take your car in for service, figure out beforehand how many miles they expect to put on your car for "testing."

Is it a coincidence that 90% of the craigslist scammers that call me in regards to car ads claim they're from the Netherlands?

Now you (as well as the rest of us) know not to make any car deals with people from the Netherlands.

OK Mods, I think this thread needs to be closed. It's obvious the OP wants illegal information and I don't think the good people here on the Mustang Forums should supply it!

I think it is important to know and understand what kinds of shady things can happen, and that when it comes down to buying a used car, the odometer miles don't mean squat, you need to check out the condition of the car, how it sounds, how it drives, what the fluids look like, etc.
