Default Rear diff leaking from drive shaft input?

I've been noticing a small puddle in the garage every now and then. I redid my diff fluid a few months ago. The dripping is definitely not coming from the gasket, I can follow the stains down from the input shaft.

So what do you think is wrong?

Yeah, but what would cause it to leak from there and how do I fix it.

lol, well i wouldnt say its normal. but its relatively easy to get replaced by you or cheap if you take it to a shop. Its cold, snowy and such here i will probably just take it to a shop and it should take 1 hour or so to do the work. the seal is $10 or so. Im out $100 max vs spending 2-3 hours of my time in the cold on my back doing it

Cool. Thanks. I'm thinking this may be one I just pay a shop to do. Don't feel like being under the car again for a while after the LT install.
