What appeals most to you about the 2012 Mustang Boss 302?

Check the videos, IMO the black looks the best out on the track. I forgot to mention the 7,500 redline, and possibly higher with a tune. It will literally scream. It's going to be a long winter waiting for my car to arrive...

if I had a Boss it would most likely be somewhat of a garage queen.
i would rather buy a GT + SC + exhaust and drive and enjoy it, race it, beat the heck out of it.
I would feel guilty beating on the Boss, but don't feel bad beating on a GT.

I'm sorry, but its just another flavor. I credit Ford Marketing for trying to keep the Mustang fresh, but there's a limit to how many sub models you can sell.
I'm in the motorcycle biz. Theres only so many people that ride. No matter what the OE comes up with, theres a limited market. I've seen many new models struggle on the sales floor because of outrageous styling, or pricing...
I just can't see that creating yet another sub model will get buyers into Mustang.
Please take this comment as intended, and not start a war :>

I understand what you're saying, but in this case I don't think the comparison is 1:1. The large market is already there, this tag alone is a good marketing thing, as most even if they weren't around, such as my case, know of the "Boss" series mustangs of old. Factor in the other things, ya, they're still golden for now. Were I to have the money...

Wrong! The California Special is just another flavor. The V6 Pony Package is just another flavor. The Saleen and Roush Stage 1s are just other flavors. The Boss 302 is a heritage Mustang with extensive performance/capability enhancements. Believe you me, people will be lining up to get one; even if they do extend production of it (and they will.)

while I couldn't possibly use as many ellipsis as the poster above me...
The car just screams fun, I mean it literally screams with those side exhausts. I have ridden in a test mule and there is just no comparison between it and the regular 5.0. There is just something more raw about how it pulls, its basically a cheaper gt500.

I can see these cars holding their value VERY well, though.
