Default HID wiring options...

I decided to give DDM's basic 35w low beam HID kit a try. When I got it, I didn't receive any type of relay harness or anything...each bulb simply has a ballast and taps into the stock plug harness. From what I've read this is normal, but I'm worried about all that voltage needed to fire HIDs coming from the two tiny wires of the stock bulb harness.

I'm I nuts here or should I get a relay harness?

I'd put in a relay harness. I bought a Hi/low setup off of ebay and it came with a relay harness. You want to draw as little current threw the headlight switch as possible. Overheating the factory harness is asking for trouble.

Yeah this is just a low kit. Well I just installed it and don't see any problems. I guess the stock bulbs are 55w and this is a 35w kit so I don't anticipate any problems.
