The average GT with just a CAI & tune is dynoing at 285-290.

Like I said, it's just a personal take.

I never went with a CAI because my plan was the blower. I'm sure if I had the CAI, it would be that much better.

Not bad I say. I prefer shorties because of emissions, though.

Just a personal take.
99% tune. 1% shorties. (Being generous to the shorties.)

For us 6'ers I've read that you'll get more out of shorty headers once you've got a supercharger strapped on.

On the flip side, I've read that ceramic coated shorties are better when you're blown due to the ceramic coatings ability to help keep heat levels lower.

I've found some JBA ceramic coated shorty headers on stage3motorsports....yeah, $450-$495. Add the cost of install (anywhere from 4-6 hours at your local shop) and you're look at dropping $1000 total.

I'd love to install them on my ride...but the price/gain ratio kills it for me.

As others have said, you'll get more bang for your buck with a tuner + CAI combo.

I added a CAI + tuner a couple years back before getting the X-Charger. No regrets.
