Lowering my S197 Gt

I am by no means an expert on this subject and someone else may be better suited to answer your questions.
What I can tell you with my experience with the sportlines is I have never felt like I was going to lose control or anything. I drive spirited, but definitely not on the edge like it sounds like you might be doing. I have 18's so wont be much help with regards to the questions about wheel rubbing.

I've had my sportlines for about 3 years now and have not once had a regret or problem with the setup. If your going to go that low dont get just springs, do it right. When i did the drop i installed the sportlines with tokico d-specs, BMR lower control arms, BMR LCA relocation bracket, BMR Adjustable panhard bar, and BMR pan hard brace. like i said not a single problem and it handles like a go cart. the first day i was able to play around with the new set up i was behind a crotch rocket on an off ramp. he leaned over into the turn and accelerated through the turn, naturally i followed and didnt lose any ground on him. when we got back end of the ramp he looked back and did a double take surprised i was still on his tail.....money well spent!

That pretty much makes up my mind I have one more question how does it ride? If I go on a 4 or 5 hour trip is it going to beat me to death I understand it's going to be worse than stock just it it bearable on a long trip.
