Default GT500 S/C in a GT?

I was talking with a guy the other day that had his GT500 upgraded ?supersnake?...All that coolness aside, he said his installer/tuner told him they had made a kit to be able to modify the factory GT 500 Supercharger to be able to be used on a regular GT...I have searched, but have found nothing...I am calling the shop (Fastlane, Houston, TX) when they open, just curious if anyone has heard of such a thing...I'm interested because (here-say intill I talk to the shop) it was thrown around that they may be able to install and tune these previous "throw-away" supercharges on a GT for $3500ish, which would be beneficial to my situation...

It is not cost effective at all to put the gt500 supercharger on a gt, you have to do so many things just to make it fit...your better off buying a kit designed for a gt

_1 your better off buying a kit made for the gt! There are alot more things needed then just the supercharger!

What the above two posters said is true from what I've read... but that doesn't mean that someone didn't figure out a way to put together a complete kit for cheap.

More info is needed to know if it's a good deal.

I remember I asked this question a few months back and got the same responses. It would be pretty nice though, and I have seen gt500 blowers go for as little as $1100

seen a few go $300-500 lately. they're kinda worthless really unless your stock GT500 blower bites the bullitt.
