Default GT Side skirts, difference?

Hi guys,
The government finally came through and I got my tax return, which means first of all, RIMS are being ordered today! yay!

Secondly, I still have my black v6 side skirts on the car and I was wondering if there is a difference between the design of the v6/GT side skirts other than that the GT ones are color matching?

And does anyone have ANY idea where I could buy Torch Red 05-09 GT sideskirts from?

Thanks for all the help,

-Patrick

The V6 are a textured black plastic and the GTs are smooth painted. Check ebay, blue oval industries, newtakeoff etc

Just thought I'd put it out there, the GT500 uses the same sideskirts as the V6...

I just want my sideskirts to color match. I thought about having them sanded/painted, but would the paint chip off the bottom easily?

Apparently it's a lot of work to sand down the textured rockers so that you can paint them. The ones I got online are very good quality, and for $135 shipped, you really can't go wrong. Plus they're a dead match

Here's a painted pair of Roush ones, used for one week

I just noticed this the other day. I like how the color match give the
car a more polished look, but I think the textured ones look more aggressive.
IMO

Where did you get yours from? didn't see any on blue oval or NTO

Tanner - I'm going for the polished look

I got mine from Blue Oval. Got em in less than 24 hours, very pleased. The selections always change, so you just have to keep checking. Or you could always buy any painted pair and have them painted Torch Red. Probably easier than sanding/painting the textured ones
