My 87 Brenspeed tune certainly out-classes the stock 87 tune. It's not much less on power than my 89 and 93 tunes but the 93 tune pulls better in the upper RPM range whereas the 89 and 87 pull a bit more evenly throughout but not as hard as the 93.

I'd be surprised if there's 10 RWHP between my 87 and 93 tunes.

A couple of yrs ago I dynoed my car with Bama's 87 per tune and 91 tq and 91 race tune. With the mods at the time it put down 293 hp/305 tq and with the 87 tune and 298/308 with the 91 tunes. I did have 91 octane in the tank at the time.

Yep, its not even the same car Stock Vs a good custom tune. Can chirp 1-3. And im an Auto.

So it is almost as fast as a 2011 GT with the tune?

Faster. It'll send your nutz into the back seat. Now go take a cold shower.

Be real. With a CAI & tune an 05-10 GT will only be turning about 290 RWHP. A stock 11 GT is around 350-375 RWHP stock.

Hells to the NO! You have to have force induction (super charger/turbo) on a 05-10 to run with the New 5.0's!

Seen the 11's with custom tunes and other small mods hit the 11 seconds on the quarter!

DUDE! You are really best not to even mention 2011 or 2012 GT cars, we all know it is going to become another one of your damn "I want a Coyote because my '06 GT sucks!" rant.

Seriously, if you care what people think about you, you should not even MENTION 5.0 or Coyote , 2011 GT, 2012 GT, etc. anywhere in any of your posts until you ACTUALLY buy one.

Onegoal, either accept the fact that a CAI & tune on a '05-'10 is enough of a power gain to make the car noticeably different or stop questioning everyone and find out for yourself. People can feel a 5 RWHP gain with the butt dyno. Why do you think a 20-25 RWHP gain isn't a decent change?

how does the ecu adjust settings if the tank is part 93 part 87 octane fuel? also is there any difference between 93 and 92?

For cases like that, I think that the ECU will totally rely on the engine block knock sensors and retard accordingly.

As far as differences between 92 and 93 octane, I doubt you can feel the difference as you drive. You probably have to have some sort of data recorder that can read the engine knock sensors go off and the ignition advance curves.
