Living near one of the most busy intersections in LA I hear that kind of sound WAY too much! What speed was that? I don't think the Mustang's engine was running was it?
Notice how that wall it smacks into doesn't have a scratch on it?
And in the slow-motion side impact notice how the gas cap cover pops open and how the trunk pops up on the right... I would hate to get into an accident and have my insurance try to repair it.

They don't make cars like they did in the old days.
The bumpers actually worked back in those days.
Now someone just backs into it, you have a $500 - $1000 bill.
I'm not sure that they have the engines running when they do the tests.
I think that are hooked up to a cable and pulled down.
Probably because they don't want any explosions to happen.
