Default 2011 Roush Mustang what do you think of this?

Its a 2011 Roush, NEW, and they only want 34K. Is this the best deal? Looked at 09' used Shelby for 38k. Prefer new. Should I look at Saleens etc ? How much are they pricing the Boss 302 2012 ? Any input appreciated. Considering pulling trigger on this Roush; need some advice.

A dealer locally also has a 2011 GT Premium Roush stage two under 35k.

Which one is it? Sport, Stage 1, Stage 2, 5XR?

Sport and Stage 1 are primarily a body kit + decals. It looks nice, but not worth the $ for me. Stage 2 add some suspension mod, but I can work with guys like Strano and tune my car to the way *I* likes it.

5XR is the real deal, but probably not going to sell for $34K...

Personally, the only one I would consider is the 5XR, but if you like the way the Roush looks, then go for it!

If it's a stage 2 that's a good price. The Boss starts at $41K. I really like the stage 2 suspension and ride and for that price it would be an easy decision for me. If it's a stage 1 pass. Good luck.

No, 427R stopped with the 2010's.

If that is a stage2 for that price it's a good deal. I've gotta say that I must live in the most expenisive place to buy a Ford :-(

The dealerships around me are asking $50K+ for a stage 2 and $38K for a GT premium. I'm not in the market as I love my redheaded step child 2010 but seeing the pricing people run into on this forum is depressing when I compare to my area...

+1, you're not alone!

The last one I saw locally had a 34k sticker price and then 8k for the Roush upgrade - STAGE 1!!!! The stage 2 was north of 50k and they sold both of them in 2 weeks!!

If it's a stage 2 your getting a lot for the money. I got this off the Roush web page:

Core Components - $7,560 + S&H
ROUSH Billet Upper Grille with R Badge
ROUSH Front Fascia with Driving Lamps
ROUSH Front Chin Splitter
ROUSH Side Rocker Splitters
ROUSH Rear Valance
ROUSH Rear Decklid Spoiler
ROUSH R Rear Decklid Emblem
ROUSH Stage 2 Dome Badge
ROUSH Front Windshield Banner
ROUSH Embroidered Floor Mats
ROUSH Center Console Badge/Button
ROUSH 18-Inch Cast Chrome Wheel With High Performance Cooper 2XS Tires
ROUSH Suspension System
ROUSH Stage 2 Serialized Engine Bay Plaque
ROUSH Supplemental Owners Guide

I would buy it....I was looking at premiums today. 36K to 38K....stock with no Roush equipment. Your getting a good deal. If I was looking for a Roush....I would jump all over that deal!!! Good luck

If it's a Stage 1. Not bad, spoilers & rims:

Core Components - $6,240 + S&H
ROUSH Billet Upper Grille with R Badge
ROUSH Front Fascia with Driving Lamps
ROUSH Front Chin Splitter
ROUSH Side Rocker Splitters
ROUSH Rear Valance
ROUSH Rear Decklid Spoiler
ROUSH R Rear Decklid Emblem
ROUSH Stage 1 Dome Badge
ROUSH Front Windshield Banner
ROUSH Embroidered Floor Mats
ROUSH Center Console Badge/Button
ROUSH 18-Inch Cast Chrome Wheel With High Performance Cooper 2XS Tires
ROUSH Stage 1 Serialized Engine Bay Plaque
ROUSH Supplemental Owners Guide

i think you could add all the stuff on either of those cars to a normal GT for about half what roush asks for the parts. i like roush cars, but they are overpriced and since roush just modifies the cars you get hit pretty badly at trade most places, or at least that is what i was told at a roush dealer that wont even buy used roushes for that reason.
