Hey everyone, I have a 2006 Mustang GT and I have a few modifications on it but nothing crazy. I wanted to purchase a 65 mm throttle body and wanted to know if it will make a difference in terms of torque and horse power. Currently I have a JLT CAI/91 Race tune from Bama. A Borla axel back exhaust. I already know that the Borla won’t produce that much power if any. I love my 91 race tune combined with the cold air. It’s the best mod I ever bought.

But my real question is that how much power I can expect from a good throttle body with an aggressive race tune from bama say 91 octane. Can you provide approximately or realistic numbers please since I don’t know much throttle bodies can help by.

PS; I have 4.10’s if you need any extra information. Any input would be nice because I want to know if throttle bodies are worth the money since they are not cheap. Thank you in advance.

It will do nothing! The stock TB flows more then enough air to supply a N/A engine...

Minimal gains, if any. The stock TB can handle as much air as our engines can swallow. If you have plans to go FI or add cams and LT's then it could be worthwhile.
