Default O/R H

Hey guys i need some help/advice. I'm looking at doing my exhaust now and was looking at going with a O/R H pipe and the Pypes Pype bomb. So my question is, is it bad to run are cars like that with no kind of back pressure? Can you possibly hurt the engine (burn valves, piston ring). I know it will be loud and I also don't live in a state that has emissions test so thats not a problem.

Not sure about the implications on the engine but I do know first hand that it will sound AMAZING!

No, you won't hurt the engine. Worst case you may loose a bit of low end torque, but otherwise go for it!

You won't hurt the engine because the closed loop control fueling system will add more fuel to compensate for the additional flow through the engine so that you will not lean out and burn valves.

You also will not lose low end torque. That is just a myth, you actually gain torque by not having any back pressure. When you increase your runner lengths (long tube headers), then you can lose low end torque because it shifts the exhaust scavenging efficiency higher in the RPM range, which makes you gain high end torque, but lose some down low.
