Default Painted valve covers

I won't be able to drive my car all week because of the rain so I decided to paint my valve covers. Not quite done, but here are some pics so far. Letting them cure overnight, then starting the clear tomorrow. I'll post pics of them installed later in the week.

Looks great! How difficult is this sort of thing? I've often thought of doing it but I don't want to screw anything up.

holy s**t man.. those turned out awesome.. i came into an extra set and bought the paint, just haven't had the time to do it.. wow.. makes me wanna do it now! nice work man..

That looks absolutely amazing, I was going to paint mine red but I can settle with blue if you'd like to swap for my stockers haha.

Mind doing a step by step on how to remove them and stuff? that's the part I'm worried about.

did you hit em with sandpaper before you primed? if so, what grit did you use?
