Why dont you check out the magnaflow magnapacks or the pypes M-80's they are both mid mount's and sounds great. Im looking at getting the Magnapack put on my car in a few weeks.

 

I had HF cats with flows and had crazy trumpeting. Adding the m80s got rid of the trumpeting. And no my car was not quiet at all. Nothing is quiet about longtubes with cams.

 

Alright, I think ive got a plan now, lol I am going to get a hold of some 40 series flowmasters and just temporarily connect them between the mid pipes and the crossover to see how they sound, (probably have to take the whole back piping off and connect it off the car) but I think I can get it connected and just hear it, if that doesn't sound good ill find a set of used stingers to try, if that doesn't sound good to me ill resell and try some m80's mid mounted. Also I saw a super 40 series muffler that's dual in dual out that may fit after the H on the car where the two pipes run side by side, anyone thought of that before? Not sure how I would feel about going to one muffler though if that would cause more backpressure or anything.

 

i had gta, macs and jba mufflers with off road h pipe, the jba mufflers have very little trumpeting and no drone. finding the perfect exhaust will drive you crazy!
