I used the same prep method and materials on my quarter window louvers (glass attachment) and my side scoops (painted body attachment) and both are solid as concrete after almost 4 years.

Same here. Used the tape that came with the louvers with no problems after two years.

btw - Nuke - the tube that came with the DGC Louvers appears to be an adhesion promoter. I guess I should use the 91% alcohol first, let it dry, then use the adhesion promoter that came with the louvers?

Just ask because my prior car was a 2006 GT that I had a roush hood scoop on and the adhesion promoter was to adhere the tape to the scoop - not the hood...

Very confusing as it seems in this case I would need to use it between the glass and the tape...

Anyone can clarify? Thanks!!!!!!

I've never used adhesion promoter so I can't say. IMO, as long as you've stripped the surface of all contaminants you're good to go. I'm still not sure what that tube you have is.
