P.S. I also bought a Ford Extended warranty plan even though the time part went out on my factory warranty so I'm all covered there too!

Hehe, nice job there lifter. Im hoping in a few years time Ill be able to find a 2010 GT500. I dont expect it to be cheap, but certainly I hope its price is reasonable and adjusted for being used, time since first purchased, and condition. Im personally a fan of the 2010+ body style.

Heh not going to lie, I hope that the 2014 Mustang and GT500 (or whatever they may call it) is SOOOOOO badass that all the 2010+ owners want to dump their cars quick and cheap to get one. =)

The best deals I found, if not through a private seller, is buying used from a car dealer that doesnt sell the make of the car you want. I.E. I bought my Mustang from a Dodge dealership. Since most people dont go to a dodge dealership looking for a Ford, they did have it for awhile and sold it to me for 1k under wholesale.

I have had quite a few friends do this since I told them to try it, and all have had pretty similar results, especially if a dealership has more then one.
I bought my car for MSRP back in 05, as they wouldn't give any kind of deals what so ever. A fully loaded GT minus the red optional interior which didn't add anything to the price. When I considered trading it in (43k miles) for a newer 2011 or 2012 mustang. Not only did they want almost $40k for something comparable but I would be lucky if they even gave me $12k as their black book value for the car would have probably been around $8k. This is with brand new wheels/tires/navigation, etc. (Which may or may not mean anything to the dealer.)
