The TSB's are the biggies. 2005Redfire6's link above is the way to go. But of all of the TSB's, the one for the water leak is the killer, especially if the car will be your DD.

It might be worth while to narrow your search down to an 07+. That will give you a couple extra features and many of the initial issues will have already been addressed.

that does sound like a good idea. i have been looking mainly at 07's and up because ifelt that 05 & 06 were a little older

Good luck with your search....I now own my 4th Mustang and outside of my 67 I had way back when, I absolutely love my 05 V6, 5 speed, convertible! Very comfortable and fun to drive.

be sure to listen to it very closely, including from outside the car.
Have someone else give it gas.

After that you might start to think about getting a V8.

Water Leak.
Pass side carpet and pad.
Dont buy unless you remove the pass side door
sill and kick panel and pull the carpet back looking
for the tell tale signs of water intrusion.
If they wont let you do this, run away
as fast as you can.
