August 2011 issue 5.0 magazine

Anyone who doesn't subscribe should go out an buy the august issue. It has a great acticle on the development and building of the Boss 302 roadrunner motor!!!

Ford definitely out did themselves.

Hmmm.....I thought the 383, 440 Six Pack, and 426 Hemi were the RoadRunner motors.

I would assume it has something to do with the cartoon, Wile-E-Coyote vs Roadrunner. Beep-Beep-Zip-Bang!

YEP! I guess the engineers figure since it is a faster motor than the coyote they dubbed it Roadrunner
