i wanna put this onto my steeda tri-ax. it should be the same thread, correct?

my setup:
2005 GT...5 Speed...IUP...Active Anti-Theft...Side Airbags...Black/Black...

I believe the threads on the 05+ shifter differ from previous years.....so if this fits the 01 Bullit...I'd bet it would not fit the 05 stock.

Does your stock shifter fit? Alternatively, whatever does fit the tri-ax - does it also fit the 05 stocker?

I guess the real question in - Are the tri-ax threads the same as 05 or previous models? I'd ask Steeda directly.

The Steeda's threads are the same as factory which allows you to use the factory shift ****. The older stangs are different so I don't think they will work. Hurst has a white ball shifter out for the 05's though, check into that.

i contacted steeda, and they said that the 05 tri-ax has the same thread as the previous years. so i ordered the 01 bullitt shift ****, hopefully it fits!
