Default Cooling seats?

My GF's Lexus has both cooling and heated seats and I was wondering if that can be pulled off on the 5.0s since that is something that I would be looking into doing. There are two "dead" buttons where I feel that two additional buttons can go:

I'm sure a talented or dedicated car owner could figure out how to implement a set of Lexus cooling units into a 5.0. It might be harder to do if the cooling unit uses the A/C condenser or something like that.

The new Lincoln suv has them also. If Lincoln does I'm sure some Ford vehicle does as well or will in the very near future. You have perforated leather seats?

Expeditions have this feature. Maybe you could figure out how to fit those into your seats?

Since you have heated seats it may not be too hard to wire cooled seats, but you would either have to buy new seats out of a car with cooled seats, or do something to yours. Plus all the work you would have to do to the wiring harness. Like TruMac said Lincolns have them, so I'm sure some Fords have the option.

My fiance's gma has them in her '08 MKZ and wow the cooled seats are pretty freaking epic. Hope you can figure something out, OP.

Very interesting! Never really thought about cooled seats but that would be a nice feature!

It's the main reason I didn't bother with the premium...but now I kinda miss the leather and have been considering picking up some of the takeoffs for like $300...if I found some that weren't just plain black I would probably pull the trigger...hint for anyone that just happens to have some super sweet leather seat covers from 10-12 Stang sitting around collecting dust.
