Sure your cam wasn't set in the glove box?
All I can see there, is that it wasn't raining, lol.

Seems fun, but way to dangerous in a car or on a bike. Not worth the risk.

Just a couple of thoughts, having stumbled into this thread again for some other reason . . .

I guess you have to have a traditional sports car/road race outlook to fully appreciate roads like that, as opposed to more of a muscle car/drag race background.

But you're absolutely right about the potential danger. Get in over your head or lose your concentration when you're pushing it and trouble does await. Even a 3-apex Interstate on-ramp can bite you in the a$$ if you get sloppy enough, never mind doing that 100+ times in a row with hardly a break in between.

pascal - I thought that's what I kept hearing from time to time.

Everything you say is true Norm...
Like everything else, stay within your limit/skills and you'll make it through just fine.
My best friend took his wife there in May and she now can lean her bike no problem as oppose to p#ssing her pants here in FL before that trip, lol.
The first day in the mountains she was slow trying to find her pace but the next day it clicked and she was right behind her husband and having a ball.
Again, if it got too hairy for her, she eased off the throttle. Simple as that.

I know that Norm doesn't need my parenting but for the rest of you youngins, if you don't try to be Superman you'll get to grow old.

We are meeting the NC Stangs group in Asheville on Oct. 15th to drive TOTD. If anyone wants to join us we are meeting at Denny's on Patton Ave at 10:00. Should be a great day in the NC mountains.

I go go down and ride my GSXR every year for a week! The dragon is fun,but not very forgiving if you make a mistake! there are so many nice roads down there to enjoy!
