It could be much worse, I have 2008 GT/CS and it has the drip rail, it is cracked and showing white in about 5 places on each side. I had it replaced about 18 months ago at the dealer, this top has the same issues and never has fit as well as the original! I suggest get a black sharpie if it bothers you but I will never let the dealer replace a top again.

That sucks almach. Thats crazy how it won't never like it use to after the first top. I went to sharpie the top up. I took a closer look. It's not rubbed. The black material is cut and the thread material is showing. Hopefully this won't get out of hand later on.

Ford should a include a sharpie with all verts and UA color cars, I have worked miracles with one on my car.

Unfortunately, these tops will wear heavily in the area just behind the C-Pillar window. It is a heavy crease area, and as you open and close it over time, it causes heavy wear.

First is the seam stitching wearing and ripping out. Then the material in the area starts to get weak, wrinkle, and finally tear. The passenger side is usually the side that wears and wrinkles the worse, but not in all cases.

Luckily, that area of material is double bonded. There is the outer skin and a pretty thick inner material. Even with a rip, the water won't make it into the cabin. It will usually drip into the main drain channel just under the top mechanism, or the weep holes near the bottom of the car.

The negatives about that is it is nearly impossible to put an inner patch if the rip gets really bad. Rips near the middle and top area of your top are easy to inner-patch.

Yea, piping as Nukey says.
It gets folded and thats the result.
No never minds as that is not a tear but wear and tear.
It will not continue like an unrepaired glass chip...
