You've got it easy compared to the crap us Auto GT owners get. I've been asked a few times are stop lights if my car was a stick shift (in my old stang). No one has asked about my 11 yet.

My Mustang GT has always been a second car for me, or my fair weather car. So having a luxury interior or caring about Navigation, or rear camera or anything like that couldn't matter less to me. I love my 06" interior because it is designed and consistent with the spirit of a street muscle car, light weight and sparse.

My Acura RL has a beautiful interior and cushy soundproof ride, but my Mustang has a raw, hardcore suspension ride, beautiful exhaust note everyone seems to love.

So I think we have to try to stop trying to make the Mustang everything to everybody. I want my Mustang to be a beautiful, mean Muscle car, and with losing weight on the car while still SC ed and with the suspension changed out, it hangs with anything on the street. (With deference to the ZR1 of course). Erik

95% of girls dont understand the difference between a V8 and a V6. So they dont really care. They just know it feels fast sounds good and looks better...

Hahaha I tried to make my ex learn. Even lectured her on the differences between model years of mustang as well as the other side of the fence: the ricer mentality. Didn't take haha. Like you said stag, just knows its shiny.

However, that's not the point. I don't mod my car to please anyone (yes that also includes women). I do it for myself. I come on this forum to get new ideas, get feedback, and for comraderie. In the long run i could care less about individual unconstructive criticism. Its the unprovoked **** talking that irks me.
