Be careful modding it though. There have been several 5.0's popping the #8 cylinder and Ford is very head strong about not covering the damage under warranty. Simple CAI's and tunes are doing it. I'm sure you may have read all the buzz on this and other forums about it.

Nicely done. And don't worry about the gears, the automatic with 3.15s is actually pretty damn perfect. It pulls off the line just as hard as my 05 did with 4.10s. Same 2.0-2.1 60' on the exact same tires.

Yeah nice. I know 4.10's would probably be waaaayyy too much for this car. I was thinking of 3.55 or 3.73's one day. But good to know that the 3.15's are good enough. They do get on it hard. The only thing that sucks is the granny shifting lol. Shifts like a Taurus...gotta change that. But I think exhaust is a first starting point. Also thanks timbo. I'm gonna look into that actually.
