Default Adjustable motor mounts?

I've been looking at motor mounts today just for something to do. What would be the advantage of a 1/2" drop on the engine? Just lower center of gravity and maybe better power transfer to the wheels because of a less angled drivetrain?

$121 stock height
$124 stock or -1/2" drop

Go changing the pinion angle and all hell breaks
loose on a 2-piece GT driveshaft set-up.
Its been dropped for a supercharger install
and for hood clearance issues but for a
lower center of gravity???

How about being the Guinea Pig and get back to us on the results...

I don't have the 2piece driveshaft or care about center of gravity. Just speculating

Then no, there will be no HP gains from changing
the driveshaft angle with 1/2" lower motor mounts.
No free HP for $3.

There is power gain, but very little. So little as to be nonexistent.
You also do reduce wear some on the U joints but again, not in a tangible amount.

Actually the pinion angle is better if you drop the engine mounts. Mine are dropped 3/4" of an inch fit fine no rubbing or hitting anything. They are Urethane type mounts so the engine doesn't move nearly as much as stock and if there is any added noise it is so low I don't notice it .
