Look at it as an excuse to upgrade to the GT-CS rear bumper. Thats what I would do. But then again, thats my fancy.

150 out of pocket for a new rear end? why not?
Where did you find it for 150? If that's true I'm going to order it right when you reply.. But I feel like I'm missing something..

Like they say, the cheap always turns out expensive in the long run. Accept nothing but a new part.

Costs me $569 to replace my rear cover with a new one and have it painted. Installed it myself. I went with the stock GT as I prefer the way it looks over the others.

Don't waste time and money trying to fix the old one.

You may also have body damage...look for bent metal, these cars are made to crumble....

Bumper replacement is cheap, Painting it can be expensive.

*** $150 being the difference in cost between the GT/CS and stock GT bumper cover. If shell cover the cost of the stock GT piece, you throw in $150 and youve got the GT/CS rear. Might be a lil more for paint tho too if you get the diffuser left black

Ah man I knew I got too excited. I've been looking for a GT5 rear end for my car forever because I love the diffuser, but everyplace is expensive.
