Default Tips on how to sell stock rims/tires

Hey, forum. I am wanting to sell my stock 17x8 silver bullitts with the original Pirellis.

Is craigslist the best way to go, or has anyone had success with the forum classifieds or ebay? It would be preferable to do a local pick-up, but is shipping mounted tires even worth considering? I've sold things before on here, but nothing as large as tires. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Local Craigslist and eBay work great! Good luck!

I would go with Craigslist or eBay and specify pick-up only. That is what sucks about selling large/heavy items is that if you need to sell them it pretty much has to be local unless you want to deal with the hassle of shipping them.

Craigslist for a few weeks, then if no bites, put em on ebay. Just have to figure out shipped weight, length, height and depth in order to accurately estimate how much shippin would be.

I sold ALL my parts besides my wheels on the forums.
I listed them on every Mustang Forum I could find.
I would post on about 5 forums and get inquiries within a day on each one.

I think the forums are the best place.
SO MANY people looking for the MUSTANG parts they want
on forums.

This forum, S197forums.com, modular fords, Fnsweet, local Mustang forums as well (local Mustang car club sites).
Just make your add... copy the text... go to the next forum... make a thread in their classifieds, and paste it there. Fast and easy.

Although cragislist is good and so is Ebay...my best luck has been on the forums.
And we have sold and bought quite a bit of parts on forums I can tell you that!

Craigslist. But, have patience. It can take a long time to sell a set of wheels. My first set took over a year to sell. Second set was sold within a few weeks.
But do post up in these forums, as someone may be looking for a set.
