Default M80s

I was looking to buy some M80s to weld in or maybe even clamp before the rear axle to smooth out my exhaust tone (O/R X & SLP LM AB) but I noticed the ones being sold by AM are only listed to fit up until the 04 models, why is this? My thinking is that since they are 2.5" ID/OD that their wouldn't be a problem, or am I wrong in assuming this?

I noticed in the reviews there are a few with S197s but you can never be too sure if they required any additional modification or not. Thanks in advance. Figured i'd get more views here than in the vendor section.

The look and dimensions are the same as those I bought from Brenspeed a few months ago.

I'd risk it. Of course, it's not my money you're spending :-)

Thanks for the replies, that's good to hear. onederful, you don't happen to have any vids of your exhaust minus LTs do you? Since that's basically what mine SHOULD sound like.

thanks, it was actually Tombstang's video that peaked my interest into getting the M80's.
i went from boomtubes to deletes bc i wanted louder than the boomtubes.
but the MBRP deletes with the rest of my exhaust was just to loud and obnoxious.
the M80's toned it down just enough, but not too much.

post some vids of yours when its done!

I know what you mean, I like loud but it's just so...unrefined sounding, not a whole lot of tone. Certain RPMs it sounds amazing but more often than not it's just noise, IMO at least. I'll definitely have follow-up vids.
