...well folks, I learned that I shouldn't have tried turning the wiper arm to reposition it...I may have slightly stripped something since it is mounted on splines...I was able to refer to:
http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=471&viewfil...ivot%20Arm.pdf

...took it apart and mounted the arm back to wear it was...tested it and all is fine...thanks for everyone's help!

I have done the same thing with the hood. Many years ago while living in a snow climate I had my wiperblades freeze to the windshield. I turned them on and they striped the bolts. LOL It was a easy fix though, but did scare the sh#t outta me.

I actually think I did this on a car I had too back in the day lol.
I think I just screwed the wiper and caused a slight scratch on the windshield that I never got fixed. It was a POS ca that things like a slight scratch I could care less about.

Actually with that car a bad scratch anywhere I could not care about as long as I could see out the windshield and the car's body was not damaged if the scratch was on the paint lol. Why the hell am I typing all of this? LOL

I guess just spitting out what I recall in my mind lol

Believe me... you're not the first one to do that.

I've done that, too. BTW, are all of your lug nuts in the same position? I'd check that, too. I also freak out when my valve stem positions don't all match...
