Not a single issue w/ Scarlette other than the paint. Going to roll over 2000 miles tonight

As much as I love my car, it hasn't been a trouble free 52k miles so far.

Needed a new battery after one week. Covered by warrany.

Throttle body sensor replaced, costs me $65.

Rear gears replaced due to whine. Covered by warranty and now doing it again.

Seal on ac compressor failed, covered by warranty.

Fuel pump replaced under TSB, covered by ESP with $100 deductible.

Right front strut started leaking at 31k. Replaced all with Konis along with the clunky strut mounts that were missing bearings. Did it myself, costs about $450

Replaced both headlamp, fog lamp and a couple of tailamp bulbs. Bulbs used to last 20 years, now you're lucky to get 2 out of them.

Currently door panel vinyl is bubbling and getting loose. Will fix that myself also.

Won't go into the issues with my dads 03 Lincoln LS....

Every car manufacturer has cars that just don't come out right, the Toyota dealer down the block from us is just as busy with CEL and warranty work as we are. Don't let the media fool you.

Consumer Reports and most other reviews you read online include reviews from FANBOYS!!! I still believe that most cars are equal if you take care of them. Sure there are lemons and some companies have problems but when you keep maintenance records usually the company will take care of you.
