Default Tire pressure sensor help, please!

Okay, I know this topic has been beat to death but, I'm getting frustrated. I built a PVC tube and put old sensors in it. I went through the learn process with the tool and it all went fine. I placed each sensor next to each tire to do the learning process, no issues. After I did that, I stuck them in the tube and pressurized it to 40 PSI. Back to the car and the friggin light will still not go out.

I went through the learning setup twice just in case I did something wrong the first time. I also checked the battery on each sensor and they are all at 3 volts (took the rubber coating off the back to get at it).

What am I doing wrong?

Sensor number is 6L2A-1A176-AF

How did you pressurize the tubes and how do you know they're maintaining pressure above 26PSI?

I put a tire gauge on it and it was at 35 lbs. I have decided to just pull the cluster out and put some black vinyl tape over it and be done with it. I hate that stupid light.

Default UPDATE

I followed this sheet on the removal of the dash cluster, took all of 5 min. http://www.americanmuscle.com/simco-...e-install.html

I then used a razor blade to separate the black dash label from the housing in the lower left area where the TPS LED is. After you peal it back so you can see the four or five LED sections, I slipped and piece of black tape between the label and the housing area. Put it all back together and no more TPS light!

The entire process took less then 20 min...
