if you are a neat freak and the inside of your trunk and cabin are prestine...use 4 large black trash bags and bag each of them...that way, no dirt, no scratch...nada...

Take out the spake tire and throw one in their and the other 2 will go in the trunk and fold down one side of the rear seats.

thank you guys for the replies! really helped. I asked a friend of mine to go with me. I put two in my car (one in trunk, and one slided into the back seat (seats are put down)
I think it's possible to put four in the car. one in trunk, two in the back seat and one on the passenger seat... but surely need blanket to protect the seats..

I put four 17 inch tires in the car with the back seats folded down. So technically 2 of them weren't in the trunk.
