Default RELOCATE CRUISE BUTTONS ON 05 'STANG

Help, I am looking to relocate my cruise control buttons from the wheel to the dash panel. I see where the wires are underneath the steering column, but the colors are different than the ones that go to the button. My steering wheel only has cruise on it and the horn. The airbag is long gone and not an issue. Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated.

Can't really help you out but my questions is why would you want to make it less convenient to use cruise?

+1. the only thing I could think of is if he was going with an aftermarket steering wheel.

true that, removing an airbag from a car that originally came with one is illegal.. unless its a show car only kinda thing.

I believe it's illegal for a mechanic to do it, but YOU are allowed to do it to your own car though. It's not like cats. Selling the car like that may be an issue as well.

Yes. I have an aftermarket steering wheel. I got this from the junk yard and already got a salvage title on it. The airbag is long gone and not looking to replace it. The wire under the column are a different color than the ones at the wheel. So, I dont want to guess at it.

Mine was deployed and I never replaced it on the driver side... Mainly because I am getting an aftermarket steering wheel. Been like that for 2 years now.
