Quick Question
Ok I'm want to get 4.10 gears and a LSD. So earlier today I called my local mustang shop and They say it would take about 5 hours for the install and would cost around $450. Before i do it is this a fair price?
Thanks in advance

IMO, yes, but only if they give the no-whine guarantee.

+1. Make sure they install Ford Racing gears. Haven't heard anything good about Motive or the like.

^Avoid. Stick with Ford Racing gears. Do a search for "Gear Whine" or "Motive Gears" and see what you find.

I paid $500. Get ready for the fun factor to increase.

I went to dealer. Parts and labor were $1000, but I had zero gear whine and the minimum amount of lash allowed. Worth every penny.
