Exhaust Problem
I have a Magnaflow Catback Competition Exhaust installed on my 2011 and after installing my Eibach Suspension kit I started hearing a loud clunk when going over bumps. It sounded like the exhaust was loose and looking from the back you could tell that the driver side tip had shifted. I went to a shop and put the car on the lift and found the problem.... The exhaust is hitting the rear axle! You can see two nice mark on both pipes. So I now have to spend more money to have either custom pipes added or have a shop heat it up and bang the pipes in... Any one else have this problem and if so what was fix?
I've heard this may be an issue too
I wonder if this is across the board for most over axle pipes or specific to the magnaflow.
has anyone with the borla s cat back lowered their car, how much, and have you had any issues?
let me know if you find out anything more on this topic. thanks

I had the same problem with my Kooks H pipe cat back hitting my rear axle. Took it to a muffler shop and they loosened the whole exhaust from headers to muffler and readjusted it. Realigned my exhaust tips too... 30 mins and $40.00 for the whole shabang. Beautiful... no more clunking noise!
The Magnaflow pipe was straight and after lowing the vehicle it was sitting on the axle. Took the car to a custom exhaust shop and they cut out 3 foot sections and added j bends and whatnot to get the fix. Pipes covered in heat wrap where close to body and now everything is perfect. Anyone who wants to lower the car should consider custom exhaust and not a kit.
