Not sure about the V6, but on the GT, it is really easy and should take less than 5 minutes to remove the throttle body from the car to clean it... Atleast when I cleaned mine, I was done before I knew it...

By someone I meant a certified mechanic and no I do not have any mods at all (yet).

Haha no problem and no it's really easy to do on a V6 also. I am a computer science major with limited car knowledge and I removed mine without any problems
