That said, I am a fan of the 2000-2004 models as well, but I would only want one if it was in ADDITION to what I own now. Go for the GT500. I don't think I've ever heard anyway who owned one say they wish they had bought a different model of Mustang.

I def love the s197 body style hands down. Only thing i really like about the newer ones are the tail lights, hood and the stock rims. If I get the 00-04 gt Ill use it like a weekend car. Build it up and make fast you know and take it out every once in a while. Maybe learn to drive the track or something. Ive decided against the boss and actually called a few dealerships about posts of an 07 gt500 and an 08 gt350. Itll just come down to what the bank says haha and what kind of deal we can workout. I still have my six and dont plan on letting her go seeing how shes my first mustang lol
