Ready for aftermarket Mods for my 2010 Mustang GT
Hey all,
I just recently bought my 2010 Mustang GT this past October. I have not done any aftermarket upgrades to it yet, but I'm ready to start small projects on it. I'm currently looking at a MagnaFlow Axle-Back Exhaust. ( http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/d...rtnumber=16578 )
I really like how deep it sounds by listening to a few clips online. I was wondering what peoples thoughts were on this type of exhaust. As I am new to this site and to upgrading my Mustang, any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Joel aka GoldRsh

Lots have Magnaflow. It's quality, one of several quality manufacturers. That's purely an opinion based decision based on sound...there will be no performance gains with axle backs, so if that's the sounds you want go for it.

With having stock H-pipes already. I'm not sure if getting aftermarket cat backs will help performace. That's why I'm leaning down the road of getting an axle back system. Eventually I will be getting new headers and possibly new manifold and intake.

Lts w/ pypebombs FTW!
Lol, anyway magnaflows make a quality piece that sound great, though sound is all based on personal prefrence. Honestly once you get headers though or even a catless midpipe the whole game changes and gets to a different level of loud....my setups crazy loud. But there wont be any gains with a catback/axleback.
