Default Do i need to replace my Pressure Plate?????

So I just ordered a new slave cylinder/TB. Last summer i replaced my clutch from OE to a RAM stage II. Didnt replace the slave/tb... I know! I know!
So after the 500 mile break in period, the TB starts making noise.
After about a month of the noise, Only driving to and from work because no other transportation at the time, The clutch pedal goes soft and only has play at the bottom 2 inches or so. And the car wont shift into gear unless its cold.
I dont want to have to buy a new clutch kit, how can i tell if the pressure plate is not ruined? I dont want to be doing multiple tranny removals and installs and whatnot. Sorry for the long winded post!

Put the car in neutral and pump the clutch pedal fast repeatedly and see if you get some pressure back. If you get pressure back, the issue is unlikely to be your pressure plate, and more likely to be something with the hydralics (slave cylinder)

Well I did as you suggested. The pedal feels fine. Its when it gets warmed up from driving it gets soft and the TB makes all kinds of bad noises. And it doesnt want to go into gear.

Check your brake fluid level. Might need to be topped off. Also did you trying pumping the clutch pedal while the car was warmed up?

Fluid level is ok. I drove the car around the parking lot to get it warmed up. The pedal gets softer then.Pumping it did seem to help. As I backed it into its spot to park it, the shifter wouldnt come out of gear with the pedal pushed in. Had to manhandle it out of reverse. Almost backed into a damn bike trailer lol.
I got the new slave cylinder in the mail the other day. Just waiting on a new flywheel and pilot bearing. Now to find a decent shop around here .
