I new to Ford as stated in acouple post above. I see some Mustangs on the net that have the inserts, where their lights are painted the same color. I would think the whole light would have to be taken out?

 

I bought a set of extra headlights just to modify them. The clear plastic cover is glued to the rest of the light casing. I have not tried to disassemble them yet but I heard you can heat them up to soften the glue. I would like to know the best way to separate them as well. Anyone done this yet?
