Another thing you might try if you don't think it was vandalism is to turn your AC on with the windows down but turn the temp all the way to hot and drive it like that for about 15-20 mins. Father in law told me to try that once and I thought he was full of it, but it worked.

I've only had my 2012 Mustang a few months and have this a/c smell. Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try.

This is why I had a pontiac grand am and pontiac grand prix in college. No way would I have a sports car in college. Too many idiots, drug frat guys (no offense), and inconsiderate people that use your car as a door stop.
