Yeah I think I'm gonna wait and snag a deal at the holidays or something. I'll see what's up then.
Yes sir he's the only 1 that I know that is modding his v6 in this area. His is a manual. In the racing vid he was the black mustang in the right lane. I was the grey one on the left. I only ran once that night but that's all I needed. The one 5.0 that was there couldn't break a 9.0 second pass so I was good with what I ran lol. I know they run better than that so the 5.0 guys don't get upset at me. The guy was still on Pirellis and spun all the way down the track. I have. Buddy running an 8.2 right now with minor mods to his 5.0. For me the 4.6l was a good choice because at the time I needed a car and the dealer wouldn't give less than 38,000 for the 2011 5.0 and I got this one for just under 28,000. With the money I saved I could get it to be about as fast as a 5.0 and sound and look better at the same time. That's what I liked about the 4.6l. Course now you can get a 5.0 for way cheaper but I'm good with what I have.

Yeah I remember when the 5.0's came out, everyone gave the 2010 guys crap. Well honestly I think the MSRP was close to 10K more than the 2010's when they came out if I'm not mistaken. So not all the 2010 guys were pissed, only the ones that could've still afforded the 5.0.

Oh I still get a smartass every now and then. Once I explain to then my situation at the time they sometimes get it. The ones that don't don't really matter to me anyways lol. I'm not a gung hoe ford nut swinger. The only reason I even considered a mustang is because Chevy dropped the ball when they designed the new camaro. I drove a Turd gen camaro for almost nine years and it finally gave out on me and I was tired of repairing cars so I wanted something I didn't have to worry about fixing.... I'm at 50,000 miles and counting now in the gt with only a cooling fan issue that was taken care of. My car isn't a daily but I take a lot of out of town trips and that put the miles on it. Had the cams installed around 30,000 miles and the headers about 7,000 miles ago. I've spent maybe 3,500 in mods and that includes the wheels ans tires, minus the replacement of worn tires.

Hey dude, I would wait till the redesign, I wouldn't waste my money right now, I love the 3.7 plus having the performance packedge makes things a-whole lot better.. Complete night and day difference from my 4.0.. Before I got my 2012 I had the option to get a 2010 GT but I didn't because of the new platform of 5.0 and I didn't wanna suffer less of a trade in down the line, not saying the 4.6 is bad, it's badass, but the new GT is the 5.0

Yeah and those are probably mods you wouldn't have if you had the 5.0 because of the price difference. I hear ya though.

I'm planning on getting the 2015 regardless. A GT is a GT though. So I figured I'd try and swing getting one now but I'm gonna go big or go home closer to Christmas. 5.0
