I think the 'average' stang owner can't handle any over $1K costs at once. I'll admit I had a bit of a sinking feeling when I saw what all the options added up to for the bars. The RPM kit is engineered for the S197, and is truly a bolt-in design with no fabrication required, If I went with mild steel, it would have dropped about $700, but would also have weighed more.

But on with the build...
The turbo was mounted, clearance was checked, and the hot side from the JBA shorty header to the turbo was fabricated and bolted in. Incredible work here, I honestly can't imagine the skill required to align and weld that one piece.

And the other side was done.

When is the Mojave Mile? Will this be done for the next one? Also is it an event where spectators could go out and watch?

Mojave Mile just had an event Sept 29-30 that I missed. It should definitely be ready for the next one in the spring. They don't have the dates nailed down yet, but the spring event is usually April/May.
They aren't really set up for spectators (no stands or anything like that), but they have a couple of waivers you need to sign to get a wristband to get in the gates.

2" cold side piping routed and tacked.

Custom air/air intercooler installed.

The intercooler to throttle body tube in place.

I think I spy the new fuel rails and 105LB injectors in that last shot.

This is starting to look beastly.

I am digging it man! I'm not for turbos on the street, let alone with with a manual tranny. But yours, for what you are doing, perfect. The tranny, the gearing, the application. You will have tons of fun.

I haven't taken my car to 160 or so in several years. 160 is freaking fast in a street car.
