160 is pretty fast for a street car, the thing about mojave mile is you see what cars can do in stock form and modified.

I went with what they're calling the "S197 magnum", basically the tremec T-56 magnum for the S197 mustang.
When I did 160 I was turbo'd with 3.55s. I now have 4.10s and a blower. I think 165 is where I would theoretically run out of gear at.

I'm still on the fence about what tranny I will be getting. I drive my car mostly on the street, but I live 5 minutes from the strip and I don't race as much as I used to because I need a cage and a tranny that is more consistant. I have another car that I will just have to race instead of the 06'. I think I will probably get the same tranny set up as you do, with different gearing.

I know exile are the only ones I can think of that mount the turbo's in that location, vice under the hood (gets cramped with twins), or in the rear.
It's a custom kit by RET.
I've heard the hellion hellraiser kit for gt500's puts the turbos in the same location also, but the turbo location is about where the similarities end.

And... the cold side piping is finally back from powdercoating (4-days after originally promised), so progress can start up again! Do those pipes look good or what?

Yes, yes they do. I'm thinking of doing a build similar to yours; twin turbos and all that. It may have to wait though as I haven't found a winning lotto ticket yet.

Blow-off valves are mounted on the intercooler. Looking mean.

A custom bracket was fabricated for the scavenge pump. The scavenge pump takes the oil from the turbos and puts it back in the motor.

Not much a fan of turbos, but this looks good. Too bad there is no Direct Injection heads available or you'd have yourself a nice ecoboost.
