I have Magnaflow streets right now but have a chance to get some GT500s. I havent heard them in person so I wanted opinions on what everyone thinks sounds better.

I've only heard the GT500 exhaust on a 2012 GT500 at the dealer...it was backing up in the service bay and it caught my attention in a very good way...never heard the magnaflow streets in person before....but don't the magnaflows have some drone?...I know it is stated from many owners that there is no drone w/ the GT500s...so that may be something to consider when comparing the two.

No drone with the streets either. They aren't very loud at all. Very tame

Ok so gt500s ftw. Swapped out last night and instantly feel in love. Def a better sound over the magnaflows

Glad to hear, I'm still hoping to find a local set of GT500's before I drop $300 on new ones. Know anyone else near you with them lol. I see a lot of GT500's and such in the Fort Bragg area.

my only beef with the gt500s is they look very .. oem. the mufflers are large - I like the look of smaller sized mufflers so you can't actually see muffler from behind the car.

they sound good though. I wouldn't be against the quad tip version.

I'll be on the lookout. I sold some muffler deletes last week to a guy with a gt500, but not sure what he's gonna do with his stockers. I got lucky with mine....I posted the magnaflows on cl and a guy asked if I would trade him. After much debate and you tubing I decided to go hear it in person. He had the heartthrob mid pipes so it was louder, but when I installed them on mine I fell in love. Do you do any hanging out around here. The guy with the gt500 told me most of the ppl hang out around kohls

Nah I live up in Raleigh, but I go down that way for work once a week. I appreciate the look out though.
