Hi SlyStrat,

I'm happy to jump in here and see how I can help. Send me a PM with your VIN, dealer, mileage, daytime phone number, and full name; I'll get your case escalated and get your regional customer service manager involved.

you shouldn't have to ask now what. your dealer should diagnose the problem and fix it. if they can't, you can escalate the case, but give them a chance to fix it or prove they can't fix it, first.

Bad U-joints have been known to cause this and another cause if the mechanic installed the same broken DS, this has happened before as well. Same as a Dr. amputating the wrong foot.

If they don't come up with anything soon, PM one of the CS folks here and they can help you move it up the chain at Ford...

Thanks for the endorsements and great suggestions, folks!

Have a great day,

The Ford dealer just called and said its ready and very smooth riding.
They turned the flange and re-bolted it.
Gonna pick it up soon.

It rides very smooth. Totally different car now. The tech rotated the flange a couple times and that solved the problem.
That vibration actually made it easy to know my speed on the highway. Now I have to keep looking at my speedometer!
On another note, I had them install GT500 axle back mufflers. They are quieter
than the stockers when cruising. Can't even hear them inside. No drone at all. Only come alive with acceleration. I kinda miss the stockers.
