2009 mustang BEST GEAR RATIO
No one would ever do that. I go to a private Christian school that has cameras all over the parking lot...and it's not like the school lot is filled up because it isn't at all. Even of I didnt buy the second space there would still be no one even near me where I park.
There are cameras everywhere as a deterrent to your car getting damaged...
The lot does not fill up and there would still be no one even near you where you park...
So buying two parking passes is logical...nope!
But hey, I get it, you just want to show off your sweet ride to your friends and maybe make some new ones. No harm in that, we've all been there. I mean, no one wants to take the bus, God forbid.
No doubt you have earned your car, you do well in school as evidenced by your AP classes, you managed to restore a classic as well which shows good time management skills. I'm sure you have a bright future.
This forum, like all the rest, is mostly opinion and a little factual. The members here are honest and will call bullshi1t when something sounds stupid. There is no point of a forum if all you want is for your opinion to be echoed, especially if it sounds stupid or illogical.
But to answer your question of best gear ratio, I would suggest 4.10s because in your other thread you decided on an air ride set up that will eliminate the need to change springs or tires. Good choice. 4.10s will provide good around town punch and not kill your top end or hwy cruising as much as the 4.30s. If you decide to supercharge it later, you can switch back to 3.55s.
Congratulations guys,
Do you feel better after ranting towards a 16 year old? Do you feel like more of a man?
It was a simple question and what's the point of having a forum if no one ever posts on it. I enjoy discussing topics about my car with others and it is a time saver. And you last couple of guys have made me feel real welcome.
And yes I am on a budget. By me taking precautions by buying an extra space shows my logic urs4, so I don't need to get any lip from you.
I just bought this car and had my hopes high with what I could do with it and I clearly figured out a supercharger was not one of them. I still want to get more performance and have every right to ask about gears, as I am sure that NO ONE ELSE on this forum is putting 29.8 inch tall tires on the rear, causing me to not even bother with searching. So please, if you would like to continue to rant please do it somewhere else. I have had some helpful comments from the positive few and I don't feel like reading some of the negative **** you guys have to say.
Thanks for your help,
That kid on a budget

The simplest and cheapest solution is to change your rear springs. You could do that yourself. It would help if you knew what springs you have on the car. Take a pic of the rear springs and post it here.
For $123 you can swap in roush rear springs which only drop the rear 1 inch. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rs...5/applications
Anything you do to raise the rear might cause your chin spoil to scrape, so keep that in mind.

Back to the original post. Get supercharged, get lowered to 1.2" lower than stock, stay on the 3:55's and stay on 18's @ 255/45/18 front and 285/40/18 rear.
Large High diameter tires and large wheels are vey heavy and slow a car down. Look at the 05-09 Saleens. Their tall, heavy, tires and 20" wheels slowed them down a lot. Erik
