It just has cats designed to be less restrictive on the car. As far as exhaust note difference, here's a video of how mine sounded before and after, the tone isn't so much determined by that, but what kind of muffler/piping you're running. I have yet to make a video of how I'm running it currently with the resonators on it. I honestly think no cats but with resonators and mufflers sounds the best from what I've put on my car. It's nice and quiet when you want to it be, but when you mash it the packed resonators pop and sound really good.

Alright, well I see everyone posting videos of cars that don't even have MAC Axlebacks.. I have MAC Axlebacks with stock cats and x pipe along with a before video and an after video.

The x pipe made my exhaust more quiet and reduced the drone. Removing the cats in combination of adding the x pipe is what will give it the rasp while increasing drone simply because it will increase the volume of the exhaust. My exhaust tone actually got deeper with the x pipe and stock cats.

Have a listen for yourself, and excuse my friend in the first video.

After (skip to 1:45 for the exhaust portion of the video):

If I decide to go another route such as with the Pype's mid mount system, pype's Pipe Bomb system, or even the Roush.....What would be the better system? Or could/Should I just get the M80 mufflers and have them installed just after the Xpipe and keep the MAC's. If I just go with the M80's I could always get muffler deleats later on down the road.....

Do you think there would be any drone If I replaced the MAC's chambered with MAC Boom tubes or a resonated tip of some sort?

Check around here and on YouTube for insight on resonated style types and see if they reduce the drone. I would say they drone less but I have heard a few times that Boomtubes are horrible about drone.

I think the only ones that don't drone are Borla, Magnaflow, Corsa, Bassani (not sure about Bassani) and I guess the mid-mounted systems.

High flow cats are smaller, so they let more noise through. Due to the smaller size they also flow a little better, but not really enough to make a big difference in power.

Well, I posed a video of my car with chambered mufflers...all the chambered mufflers out there pretty much sound the same, more or less.

BTW speaking of MAC, I forgot to mention, the fit and finish on my Pro Chamber was pretty awful. It looked like they welded it together without a jig. When I put it on with the Magnaflow downpipes attached I was able to get it to fit relatively well, but when I installed it with the off road downpipes supplied by MAC it leaked on the passenger side. The passenger side pipe had a weird bend in it that made it very difficult to line up.

Anyway....I have two Magnaflows I bought awhile back that are the same size as the M80's (except better quality, because they're Magnaflows) that I want to install as staggered resonators at some point, I just don't know when I'll get to that job.

If I may add my $.02... xpipes are not raspy if you run them catted and after they warm up after a few minutes of driving. Off road x trumpets and has the raspy sound everyone talks about, especially with a chambered muffler or muffler delete. If you have the chance to hear a catted x with a straight through muffler you'll find it gives the exhaust a higher tone than h pipes, but I prefer it because I want my car to sound better than everyone else's.
