HAH HAH ~ I hear ya! On the plus side, you get great gas mileage on the VW's!

Personally I would have kept the GTO.. I had the 2004 and even after having a Corvette, Camaro, Mustang etc. That is still the car I miss the most.

It was certainly a great car. I am thoroughly enjoying the vette though, no regrets yet :-)

Exactly! It's all about having a good balance. Now we have utility, fun, and economy. Woot! Now.. Time to put a blower on the vette :-)

Congrats, sounds good, if I'd sell my '06 GT that has got 70k on it, I'd figure I could get 12 for it. That GTO sounded mean, shame they stopped making them. The VW is a good choice, I'm commuting 80 miles /day round trip with the GT, its not bad for a V8, but overall its not good. I fill up once a week, 50 bucks on average. I was reading about the Golf TDI, gets 42 mpg! Good luck with the Vette and Jetta. I miss my 2000 FRC Vette, traded her in on the 06 GT, oh well thats life! LOL
